Tax Cuts & Payroll Lunch & Learn: Navigating the New Rules for Employers

Tax Cuts & Payroll Lunch & Learn: Navigating the New Rules for Employers
Tuesday, March 4, 2025 (11:00 AM - 1:30 PM) (HST)
Description
ACT NOW: ENSURE YOUR BUSINESS IS COMPLIANT WITH NEW HAWAI‘I TAX RULES!
Thanks to Governor Green and the Hawai‘i State Legislature, Hawai‘i’s largest income tax cut in history is now in effect, bringing more take-home pay for employees statewide. Employers must take immediate action to comply with updated state withholding requirements to ensure employees receive the correct tax adjustments.
It’s a unique situation—and timely, as all employers should have adjusted their employees’ tax withholdings beginning January 1, 2025. Employees do not need to take action—employers are responsible for implementing these changes.
Join us for an exclusive Lunch & Learn featuring Seth Colby from the Hawai‘i Department of Taxation (DoTax) and Abel Soares III, CPA & CFP®, to ensure your business is prepared and compliant.
