About
Kahiʻolani Foundation is a Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) established to enrich the lives of Native Hawaiians through education, cultural preservation, and community service. Guided by the values of kuleana (responsibility) and aloha ʻāina (love of the land), the Foundation perpetuates the traditions of hula, language, and Hawaiian heritage while creating pathways for economic and educational advancement.
As the 51% owner of Pacific Global Security Group LLC, Kahiʻolani Foundation ensures that profits from federal contracting are reinvested into programs that principally benefit Native Hawaiians. Twenty percent of net profits are dedicated to supporting community initiatives such as the Merrie Monarch Festival, Hula education at Hui Iwa Academy and Hanalani School, and cybersecurity support for Native Hawaiian-owned businesses.
Under the leadership of Chairwoman Aureana Kamaliʻioiwalani Tseu, the Foundation upholds its mission to serve the Hawaiian people—honoring the footsteps of the ancestors (Nā Kapuaʻi o Nā Kūpuna) while building pathways for tomorrow (Nā Ala no ka Lā ʻApōpō).
