Co-Founded by a retired US Navy Captain and a Forbes-recognized “self-made” businesswoman, we pride ourselves on having the agility of a startup technology company and the capability and capacity of a large IT corporation. My journey started in Pahala in the Ka'u District on the Big Island, my hometown and the location of our Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) headquarters. Per latest US News and World Report, approximately 90% of Ka’u High School’s students are considered “total economically disadvantaged.” And I was one of them.
Without mentors and access to opportunities, I would not have had a successful Naval career or the ability to start a small business and Native Hawaiian Organization. Having grown up in poverty in one of the most remote areas in the United States, I am fully aware of the challenges that the next generation of Native Hawaiians will face.
I truly believe we are all put on this earth for a reason. For me, I’m committed to taking care of the next generation...starting with the local residents in Pahala.
